I voted for Obama, with a heavy heart, knowing full well that he wasn't the change that we need.
How could he? He selected Joe Biden for the VP post.
Biden is a neoliberal hack, in the pocket of the credit card industry. Biden was the architect of the Bankruptcy Reform bill passed couple of years ago. It was a complete give away to the financial sector, and barely any provisions for consumer protections.
Biden was also the key player behind the so-called War on Drugs Act of 1986. It is largely because of this bill that we have the highest incarceration rate in the world. And we are involved in the Colombian civil war helping right-wing paramilitary death squads.
As if the wasn't enough, he installed an ex-Israeli soldier as his Chief of Staff.
And now Obama wants to embrace Joe Lieberman!!!
This ain't no change, this is more of the same.
